Finding your FlixBus stop at SeaTac

The FlixBus stop is on the Arrivals Drive at the south end of the baggage claim level, outside Door 2 of the Main Terminal. After collecting your bags, exit the baggage hall and walk south along the Arrivals Drive. The FlixBus boarding area is past Pick-up Zone 4, at the far end.

If you're arriving on an international flight, you'll clear customs and passport control in the International Arrivals Facility (IAF), connected to the South Satellite via an overhead walkway. • SkyTrain Expo Line: The most direct route into the city centre. Board at Main Street–Science World and reach Yaletown-Roundhouse, Vancouver City Centre, Granville, and Waterfront in around six minutes. Trains run every three to six minutes at peak times.
• SkyTrain Canada Line: Transfer at Yaletown-Roundhouse or Vancouver City Centre to reach Vancouver International Airport (YVR), Olympic Village, South Granville, and Richmond.
• SeaBus: Passenger ferry from Waterfront Station to Lonsdale Quay on the North Shore. Departs every 15 minutes at peak times and crosses in 12 minutes, with views of the harbour and mountains.
• Bus and trolleybus: TransLink surface routes cover areas beyond SkyTrain, including Granville Island, Kitsilano, the West End, and UBC. Routes 3, 8, 19, and 22 serve the Main Street–Science World area.

Things to do in Vancouver

• Stanley Park: a 400-hectare coastal rainforest practically in the centre of downtown. Walking the full loop takes about three hours; by bike, around ninety minutes. The park is also home to First Nations totem poles and several beaches including Second and Third Beach.

The Public Market is the centrepiece, with around fifty vendors selling fresh BC salmon, artisan bread, local cheeses, and candied salmon. The Artisan Studios beyond the market are home to working glassblowers, potters, and jewellers — a working arts community, not a tourist set piece.
• Gastown: Vancouver's oldest neighbourhood, a fifteen-minute walk from Pacific Central Station. The Steam Clock on Water Street is powered by the city's underground steam heating system and blows a whistle every quarter-hour. The cobblestone streets around it have some of the city's best restaurants and independent shops.
• Museum of Anthropology at UBC: one of the world's most significant collections of First Nations art and cultural objects. The Great Hall has floor-to-ceiling glass on the Pacific side, with totem poles and carved house posts standing at full height inside it. About forty minutes from downtown by bus.
• Capilano Suspension Bridge Park: north of downtown, accessible by free shuttle from Canada Place. The main bridge is 450 feet across and 230 feet above the Capilano River. The Treetops Adventure, a series of bridges between old-growth Douglas firs, extends the experience into the forest canopy.
• Queen Elizabeth Park: in the city's south, offering clear views of the downtown skyline framed against the North Shore mountains, with fewer crowds than Stanley Park.
• Grouse Mountain: reached by gondola from North Vancouver. At 1,100 metres, on a clear day the whole city and the Georgia Strait are visible below. The Wildlife Refuge on the summit is home to two resident grizzly bears, Grinder and Coola, who have lived there since they were orphaned cubs.
• Dr. Sun Yat-Sen Classical Chinese Garden: in Chinatown, a full-scale Ming Dynasty garden and one of the only authentic examples outside China. Compact, with intricate design and a noticeably different atmosphere from the rest of the city.
